Among the many transformations Porsche had made to their flagship vehicle for the 2013 model year, the addition of lightweight top technology is among the most important. For the first time ever, it retains the iconic 911 roofline, making it more difficult than ever to distinguish the Carrera Cabriolet from Carrera Coupe.

For example, while the 911 Carrera Cabriolet features a 3.4-liter boxer engine capable of putting out 350 horsepower and even faster available packages, the 911 Carrera S Cabriolet packs a 3.8-liter engine capable of putting out up to 400 horsepower...And, like  its slightly less powerful sibling, the S is also available in more high-performance packages.

In addition to the new, lightweight top technology, the primary feature which differentiates the new Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet models from previous model years is their stronger emotional appeal, created by a more harmonious blend of memorable performance and restful comfort.
